We all have the same God, we just serve him differently. Rivers, lakes, ponds, streams, oceans all have different names, but they all contain water. So do religions have different names, and they all contain truth, expressed in different ways forms and times. It doesn't matter whether you're a Muslim, a Christian, or a Jew. When you believe in God, you should believe that all people are part of one family. If you love God, you can't love only some of his children. -- Muhammad Ali

Indian Wisdom

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It

is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is

evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,

self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,

superiority, and ego.

The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,

humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth,

compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside

you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his

grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

How Politics Works; -- Anon

I told my son, “You will marry the girl I choose.”
He said, “NO!”

I told him, “She is Bill Gates’ daughter.”
He said, “OK.”

I called Bill Gates and said, “I want your daughter to marry my son.”
Bill Gates said, “NO.”

I told Bill Gates, My son is the CEO of World Bank.”
Bill Gates said, “OK.”

I called the President of World Bank and asked him to make my son the CEO.
He said, “NO.”

I told him, “My son is Bill Gates’ son-in-law.”
He said, “OK.”

This is exactly how politics works . . .
